Members of our team at the Institute for Forecasting of the Slovak Academy of Sciences presented their research papers at the 2023 conference of the Slovak Economic Association in Banská Bystrica. Our colleague Lucia Mýtna Kureková presented the draft paper on exploring gaps between the Roma and non-Roma job seekers in the access to employment programs in Slovakia, while Ivana Studená showed the results of the research on the role of industrial relations in shaping adulting learning participation in EU27. As a part of the joint event with the annual conference of the University of Economics in Bratislava for PhD students and post-doctoral scholars EDAMBA, our PhD student Lucia Kováčová presented her paper on socio-economic determinants of mental well-being in marginalised Roma communities in Slovakia in the context of barriers in access to the labour market.
