Small history of big actions : census actions in Slovakia between 1919 – 1950

The results of census events in Slovakia belong to relatively frequently used sources, not only in Slovak historiography, but also in other disciplines that are tied to the knowledge of the population and society development. In recent years, different views on the population development in Slovakia have been evaluated. However, none of the works paid more attention to criticism and evaluation of the quality of the sources on which the works were based. The main project aims to analyze the census actions in Slovakia from 1919 - 1950 (their preparatory process, implementation and results) and evaluate their importance and quality as sources for the population development in Slovakia.
