The "Cooperate, reach out, integrate services" (CRIS) project, supported by the European Union under the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) programme, was presented at the Minimum Income Network (MINET) expert meeting in Brussels on 24 April 2024.
The Minimum Income Network brings together experts in the field of minimum income and national institutions in charge of the agenda of material need. The Network was initiated and coordinated by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.
The CRIS project aims to strengthen the position of non-public employment service providers and to provide highly personalised and integrated services towards those most excluded from the labour market.
A highly innovative element of the project is the development of strategies towards employers and the emphasis on cooperation with employers, whose role is absolutely crucial in the process of integrating people excluded from the labour market. During the meeting, points related to the entry and retention of people living in material need in the labour market were comprehensively discussed.
