Concise Profile

Brian Fabo holds a PhD. in Economics from the Tilburg University, Netherlands. Currently, he is a Senior Economist at the National Bank of Slovakia and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Forecasting of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. In the past was affiliated with the Central European University in Budapest, Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels, Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Labour Studies and the Central European Labour Studies Institute in Bratislava. Throughout his career he acquired a rich experience with international scientific collaborative projects (FP7, H2020) and regularly publishes in international peer reviewed scientific journals. In 2020, he was awarded the Martin Filko prize for outstanding contribution to economics research and evidence-driven policy making in Slovakia by the Slovak Economic Association.
